Why We Built This Site
Idaho gives the public broad access to many government records, but Nez Perce County records are not held by one single office. District Court case status and hearings may appear in Idaho iCourt. Single-case document copies route to Nez Perce County District Court on the second floor of the courthouse. Marriage licenses and recorder services route to the Clerk/Auditor/Recorder on the first floor. Sheriff jail and warrant information uses the Sheriff's Office at 1150 Wall Street, and federal cases use U.S. District Court systems instead of Idaho iCourt.
The local court structure also matters. Nez Perce County is in Idaho's Second Judicial District. The Magistrate Division of the District Court handles many high-volume matters that other states might place in separate traffic, probate, family, or small-claims courts. That Idaho structure makes office routing more important than office names alone.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Idaho court, the Nez Perce County Clerk/Auditor/Recorder, the Sheriff's Office, the Prosecutor, Idaho iCourt, or any state agency. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on anyone's behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to a person
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, schedule, or address remains current after an official office changes it
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. A private reference page can describe the route, but the document must come from the custodian.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing, terms, data sources, and result rules. When a third-party tool leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue supports the reference pages, but it does not give this site control over third-party charges, records coverage, or result accuracy.
